Project Information
We were tasked to create a concept that we fell close to—glasses and why it’s important to have them—and then “marry“ it to a brand we liked.
Project Process
I’m someone who’s had glasses since the age of 8, and without them, I couldn’t survive more than half a day. I consider my glasses a part of my body, and I need to like what I wear. Warby Parker is my favorite place to shop for glasses; they’ve grown significantly throughout the last year. While I was walking through Downtown Savannah, I stumbled upon a construction with an exciting sign: “Warby Parker: Opening Soon.“ I was so happy about this, that I decided to write and film a commercial to celebrate their new shop. The script is inspired by something that would happen to Larry David in his acclaimed TV show “Curb Your Enthusiasm.“ Hence, its theme at the end of the film.
